Global Brand Makes Good Business Sense for Cardno TBE
TBE Group expands services to clients and opportunities for staff by adopting global Cardno brand
03/31/2009
Clearwater, Fla. – (April 8, 2009) – In today’s challenging economic climate, being part of a global group of companies can benefit clients and staff. TBE Group has rebranded itself ‘Cardno TBE’ to reflect its membership of Cardno, a leading physical and social infrastructure consulting firm with more than 3,000 staff worldwide and projects in more than 60 countries.
Cardno merged with Clearwater, Florida-based TBE Group in September 2008; Portland, Oregon-based WRG Design in June 2007; and with Arlington, Virginia-based Emerging Markets Group (EMG) in May 2007. All three of these companies recently incorporated the Cardno brand.
“Over the past 22 months, Cardno’s presence in the United States has grown from a small team of seven to a group that employs more than 1,100 staff, representing approximately one-third of Cardno’s global resources” said Michael Renshaw, President of Cardno USA.
“The recent rebranding of Cardno TBE formally introduces the Cardno brand to the United States, where Cardno’s network now comprises 30 offices across 22 states,” said Mr. Renshaw.
Patrick Beyer, President of Cardno TBE, said the addition of the global ‘Cardno’ brand is a very positive development for clients and staff.
With such a strong network of offices within the United States and globally, Cardno TBE clients can readily access the diverse array of planning, engineering, survey and environmental services offered by Cardno.
As an added benefit, Cardno TBE can also offer their staff a wider variety of professional development and career opportunities.
“These opportunities range from working on major international projects, access to technical collaboration with other associates, and possibilities for international staff exchange,” said Mr. Beyer.
Mr. Renshaw cited working on projects in Dubai, Australia and New Zealand, and the ability for selected staff to participate in international exchanges as evidence of the benefits of being part of the Cardno global network.
“In challenging economic times, we realize the importance of diversifying and adapting in order to promote sustainability for our clients and staff in the long term,” Mr. Renshaw said.
