Cardno TBE’s Chris Proulx Earns Certified Safety Professional Designation
Florida, October 29, 2010--Cardno TBE’s Christopher Proulx earned the designation of Certified Safety Professional (CSP) from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Proulx serves as Cardno TBE’s Corporate Safety Director. This highly respected certification is awarded to individuals who meet academic standards, satisfy professional safety experience requirements, and have passed two rigorous examinations. Certified Safety Professionals specialize in reducing risk by protecting workers, the public, property and the environment by identifying, evaluating and controlling hazards.
Proulx oversees and monitors the effectiveness of Cardno TBE’s corporate safety program, works with risk management personnel to develop and implement injury prevention strategies, ensures corporate compliance with safety regulations, and assists the firm in setting and enforcing high standards for on-the-job safety practices while providing high-quality services to its clients.
Proulx, who currently resides in Florida, holds an MBA from the University of South Florida and a BS in earth science from The Pennsylvania State University. He is an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.
